NET Developer with Mobile App CGI Federal is looking for.
NET Developers to work at our Dumfries location.
Duties include:
o Developing and debugging C#.
NET applications.
o Participating in daily stand up meetings and sprint execution.
o Breaking functional stories into discrete tasks.
o Participating in backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions.
o Participating in feedback session and sprint reviews.
o Participate in the full software development life cycle Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 4 years.
NET development experience applying object oriented, design patterns, and industry best practices is required.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 8 years NET development experience applying object oriented, design patterns, and industry best practices can be substituted in lieu of degree.
o Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
o Possession of an ACTIVE SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
o Must already possess clearance.
o Must have recent experience working on C#.
NET 3.

5 projects in Visual Studio 2008, 2010 or above.
o Must demonstrate a strong understanding of the.
NET framework and its various components including but not limited to C#, WCF, WPF, Silverlight, ASP.
NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and LINQ.
o Must demonstrate a strong understanding of object oriented design patterns, principles and frameworks used for web application development.
o Must have experience with developing SQL queries and stored procedures with a good understanding of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
o Application Development experience.
o Agile/SCRUM Software Development Life Cycle experience.
o T-SQL experience.
o Security
Certification needed within 6 months of start.
o Must be able to demonstrate code knowledge by writing a simple method on a whiteboard and talking about it afterwards.
o Knowledge of Windows 8.
1 Store Apps Development or other mobile apps development (iOS, Android) is extremely desirable.
o Experience with working on established code bases is preferred.
o Knowledge of MVC or MVVM frameworks a plus.
o Security
preferred.
